Filming Avanti Trains Over the Runcorn Bridge and Into Liverpool

Back on the tracks with another commission for Avanti West Coast, this time capturing footage of their new train crossing the Runcorn Bridge and continuing into the heart of Liverpool.

Filming moving trains in busy transport corridors requires precision and experience. Using the DJI Inspire 3 in dual operator mode, we were able to achieve elegant, cinematic tracking shots that showcased both the scale of the bridge and the movement of the train through Merseyside’s iconic cityscape.

This job built on the success of our previous Avanti shoot along the North Wales coast and formed part of a larger campaign to promote the updated fleet and route coverage. With trains running to a strict timetable, we had just one chance to capture each moment—requiring detailed planning and precise flying.
