Chasing Rally Cars with Drones – Filming at Rallyrides in Worcestershire

There’s nothing quite like chasing a rally car through a cloud of dust. On this shoot for Rallyrides, a bespoke rally driving experience centre in Worcestershire, we teamed up once again with Special Stage TV to capture the thrill of gravel, speed, and precision driving — all from the air.

We brought out both FPV racing drones and our standard cinematic drone kit to film this one. With Chris piloting FPV, we flew within metres of the cars — sweeping through corners, drifting wide, and pushing the limits of how close you can get with a drone without compromising safety or shot quality.

It’s this kind of shoot that puts all our rally experience to the test. Flying in dusty, high-speed environments, reacting in real-time to unpredictable car movements, and staying in sync with the crew on the ground. The results? Fast, immersive, adrenaline-filled footage that places the viewer right in the action.
